Questions

Before you call.

Before you call.

Before you call.

Everything most owners ask in the first ten minutes.

Does Making Tax Digital affect me in April 2026?

If you are a sole trader or landlord with qualifying income over £50,000, yes — quarterly digital updates start April 2026, then April 2027 for income over £30,000 and April 2028 for over £20,000. We move clients onto compliant software well ahead of your start date, at no extra cost.

How hard is it to switch accountants?

Not hard at all. You sign two forms and we do the rest.

What if I am behind on my filings?

More common than you think. We agree one fixed fee for the backlog and deal with HMRC on your behalf.

Is the fee really fixed?

Yes. We agree it after your consultation and it changes only if your scope changes.

Do you work with my bookkeeping software?

Yes. We work in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent every day. Something else is fine too.
